The tradition of LIAZ engines and the acquisition of the engine factory in Jablonec nad Nisou were the main impetuses for purchasing the licence for the manufacturing of the Neoplan type buses. These buses were produced in the Czech Republic for Italian company Mauri in the past years. Our designers made some necessary modifications for their operation in the Czech Republic and completed the development of the gas engine suitable for this bus. The first TEDOM bus was presented in spring 2004. Since 2007 these buses have been made in a newly-built, modern assembly plant in Třebíč.
