Horizontally placed in the middle rear side of the bus electronically controlled spark ignition engine, water-cooled, 4-stroke 6-cylinder, operating with „stoichiometric“ mixture, with forced air filling by turbo blower and cooler of filling air.

• horizontally placed in the middle of rear with electronic gas intake,                    
  for individual suction valves. 6-piston, 4-position, with forced air filling
  by turbo-blower and cooler of filling air
• built-in heater for the pressure regulation system
• output 220 kW at 2000 rev. min^-1
• max. torque 1 200 Nm at 1 200-1 450 rev. min^-1                                          
• stroke capacity: 11 946 cm³

GEARBOX

• fully automatic and six-speed, built-in retarder
• gear change is manual
• option: automatic gearbox VOITH DIWA 5

REAR AXLE

• rear  and front axle ZF - fixed axle, torsional stabilizer

FUEL SYSTEM - gas

• composite pressure tank with aluminium core placed in the roof of the vehicle
• capacity 3 x 320 l (960 cm³), 4 x 320 l (1280 dcm³ )
• filling pressure 200 bars
• guaranteed range 450  - 650 km
